Opinions on the Milgram Experiment!!

I thought that the Milgram experiment was very useful. It showed that the majority of people can do bad things under an authoritative leader. Even with most decisions that people do, they are very obedient to their leaders. Most people just follow orders when they work and they really never have any authority. The experiment showed that even though people say that they would never do a wrong, they really do not realize the power that an authoritative person can have on their choices.

    This manipulation is kind of really scary. Hopefully, eventually we will be able to stand up to whoever, even authority figures, and defend what is right.

    I agree with this post. People will follow their authoritative figures usually without any question of morality to it. If they do not follow an order, then they could pay a punishment or get fired. People do not want to risk a punishment, so they will follow directions and usually push their morals to the side.
